Research Facility
- Our state-of-the-art facilities are composed of two fully equipped large animal surgical rooms, including an X-Ray C-ARM Imaging System (OEC 9800 GE), a Laparoscopy System with full endoscopy equipment, an Ultrasound Scanner, a Laser Doppler System and so forth.
- Preparation and recovery rooms are adjacent to the surgical rooms.
- Additional equipment and operative support is available from experienced medical authorities via Assaf Harofeh Medical Center.
The Operating Rooms are fully monitored by central surveillance cameras for 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Hospitalization
The Hospitalization Facility is located within a 5-km radius from the Pre-Clinical Research Unit and is monitored daily by the Institutional Veterinarian.
The hospitalization capacity for pre and post operative procedures in separate yards is extremely extensive.
Our concept is that hospitalization of these animals in close proximity to their original herd (which is kept at the Hospitalization Facility) has an added value.
